WAKE FOREST — Wake Forest’s brand new arena league football team, the Carolina Aviators, will travel to Florence, South Carolina to battle the Carolina Havoc on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Aviators are coming off a 46-16 win over the Georgia-Lina Lions in their season opener April 13. This will be their first road game of the season.

“I was pleased with the team’s effort against the Lions,” Aviators head coach Barry Marrow said. “We came back to practice to fix some of the issues our coaching staff identified and put in a solid game plan for Sunday. The Havoc is very aggressive on defense and has a cannon of an arm in quarterback Daryll Clark. We will have to find a way to contain their weapons.”

The defending American Arena League champions Havoc are 4-1 overall after suffering a 52-29 defeat to the Carolina Energy in Charlotte on Saturday.

The arena league football game will be played at the Florence Center and be streamed live on the Carolina Havoc YouTube channel.
