LOUISBURG — Men and women will be running for charity at the Ben Snelling Cancer Classic Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The race will be held at Owens Park at Bull Creek in Louisburg.
This is a four race event with the high school girls 5K going first, followed by the high school boys 5K, then the 3K run for everyone of all ages and then finally the Ben Snelling Open 5K run for everyone to participate.
There will also be a Kingdom Cornhole tournament with prizes to win. There will also be individual awards and high school awards for the teams who win the races. Concessions will be available at this event.
All of the profits from this event will go toward the Jimmy V. Foundation for cancer research. Donate online at www.kingdomcdc.weebly.com.
