WAKE FOREST — A local Christian honor society chapter recognized students who earned volunteer service awards.

The Wake Forest Christian Honor Society, the Psi Omicron Chapter of the Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society, honors students “whose service positively impacts communities,” according to Nancy Reece, the honor society's adviser.

Students 15 and younger earn a bronze award for 50 hours of volunteer work and a gold award for at least 100 hours.

Students 16 and older earn bronze for 100 hours and gold for 250 hours.

Bronze awards were given to Caleb Kroeze, Eli Mayfield, Adam Paynter, Chloe Tibbits, Grayson Waites and Madeline Wohlschlegel.

Gold awards were given to Braden Barbour, Jacob Day, Samantha Diard, Zachary Lawson, Emily Prickett, Joshua Stange, Anna Thomasson, Zachary Waites and Emma Wrenn.

The chapter’s graduating seniors are Jared Ehresman, Jessica Hessler, Caleb Kroeze, Lucas Lisac, Daniel Lykins, Micah MacLean, Eli Mayfield, Ben McKay, Meredith Morrison, Claire Pedersen, Chloe Tibbits, Zachary Waites and Brent Whitley.
