Four female soccer players make All-Star team

WAKE FOREST - Two Wakefield High School girls soccer players, along with a Wake Forest player and a Heritage player made the 2020 East All-Star roster for the East-West All-Star match to be played July 21 at MacPherson Stadium in Greensboro.

Makaela Stokes and Corbin Reifschneider will represent Wakefield. Mary Ashley Finn will represent for Wake Forest. Raegan Meyer will join from Heritage.

Stokes has played defender, midfielder and striker. She has scored six goals and dished out one assist in her career. She will play at Hampton University next year.

Reifschneider primarily plays striker for the Wolverines. She has scored eight goals and recorded two assists in her career. She will play at New Jersey Institute of Technology next year.

Finn plays as a striker for Wake Forest. She has scored 29 goals and dished out seven assists in her career. She will play at the University of South Carolina Upstate next year.

Meyer plays both midfield and forward for Heritage, mostly as a wing. She has scored 16 goals and registered 18 assists in her career. She will join Finn at the University of South Carolina Upstate next year.

As of right now, the COVID-19 outbreak has not affected the date of when the East-West All-Star game will be played.
