LOUISBURG — Deputies arrested a Bunn man late Saturday night after pulling over a van officials say was used in the robbery of an ABC store in Knightdale hours earlier.
According to Wake County ABC press release, the store at 704 Money Court, Knightdale was robbed Saturday afternoon. The suspect fled in a tan Yukon SUV, officials said.
Hours later, the Knightdale Police Department identified Bryan Keith Mullen, 40, as a suspect, the release said.
Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office pulled over the SUV, driven by Mullen, on John Winstead Road around 10:30 p.m.
He was arrested without incident, the release said.
Mullen is 40 and lives on Main Street in Bunn, according to his booking. He was charged with common law robbery and held under a $40,000 secured bond.
ABC officials said it has shared information about Mullen's arrest with other agencies investigating similar robberies.
