CREEDMOOR — The N.C. Department of Transportation opened the four-way intersection of U.S. Highway 15 and N.C. Highway 56 with a new traffic pattern.

The changes include the four-way intersection at North Durham Avenue and Wilton Avenue. It also realigned and closed a portion of West Lake Road that ran between Dickerson's Service Center and American Hero Restaurant.

The project was estimated to cost $4.48 million. The change was made to improve safety and traffic, the state said.
