WAKE FOREST — Heritage High School recently sent off five more student athletes off to play at the collegiate level.

Three boys lacrosse players, a boys soccer player and a female track athlete had their signings May 31.

Shelly Scott signed to play men’s soccer at Greensboro College. The forward scored nine goals and dished out five assists during his two years on the varsity squad.

Breze Ervin signed to compete in track and field at UNC-Pembroke. Her personal record in the 400-meter dash is 1:01.29. Her record in the long jump is 17-feet-1-inch. Her personal record in the triple jump is 36-feet. Her personal record in the high jump is 5-feet-2-inches.

Iain Moede signed to play men’s lacrosse at Queens University of Charlotte. The goalkeeper had a record of 9-3 in front of the net and made 127 saves in his senior season.

David Weeks signed to play men’s lacrosse at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The defender won 50 ground balls and recorded 22 takeaways during his senior season.

Ryan Cornell signed to play men’s lacrosse at Wingate University. The attacker was second on his team with 34 goals while also dishing out 13 assists in his senior season.
