LOUISBURG — Authorities said they have arrested a Tennessee man who allegedly exploited a family member, living in Franklin County, for financial gain.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday it began investigating June 6 last year after it got a tip that an elderly woman was being exploited by a family member.
The sheriff’s office said that “after an extensive in-depth investigation,” it charged Kevin Anthony Strickland with 27 counts of exploiting the trust of an elder or disabled person.
Strickland, 45, who lives in Cookeville, Tennessee, was extradited to Franklin County and held under a $350,000 secured bond.
Deputies are still investigating. No additional information was released.
