KNIGHTDALE — Police are accusing a Virginia man of sitting completely naked inside a car parked outside Kohl’s while the area was crowded with Black Friday shoppers last month.
The man, Tylik Shawdu Little, 28, also had marijuana when a foot patrol officer spotted him outside the Hinton Oaks Boulevard store, a press release claimed.
When the officer ordered Little to get dressed and exit the vehicle, Little drove away toward nearby buildings. Police stopped him a short distance away and arrested him, the release said. He was wearing pants and a shirt by that time. Police believe no one but the officer saw the man while naked. His motive isn’t known, police said.
“This sort of public behavior on the busiest shopping day of the year is particularly appalling,” said Police Chief
Lawrence Capps in a statement. “We are glad no citizens were adversely impacted and pleased that our emphasis on proactive patrols paid off in this instance.”
Little was charged with indecent exposure, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. He was also served an outstanding warrant for assault on a female.
Police said Little lives in Virginia, but jail records show a listed address for Little on Sandy Trail Drive in Knightdale. Those records spell his middle name Shawndu.
