WAKE FOREST — Police said they are looking for a man and woman accused of stealing food from Target and Lowes Foods in recent weeks.

The Wake Forest Police Department said Thursday it took out warrants to charge Allen Ray Farrell and Ashley Jordan Kirkman with two counts of misdemeanor larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.

Farrell, 29, and Kirkman, 23, both live on Crawford Currin Road in Oxford. They had not been located as of press time.

Police Monday released two images of the couple at Target asking for help identifying the suspects. The images showed the couple pushing grocery carts full of food out of the store.

A police spokesman said the most recent incident happened Sept. 19 at Target on Retail Drive. The Lowes Foods on Capital Boulevard was also a victim, police said.

Police said anyone who knows where Ferrell or Kirkman is should call a tip line at 919-435-9610. Calls are confidential.
