ROLESVILLE — Rising Stars Private School, based in Raleigh, opened a second location in Rolesville recently, its owner announced.

The school, near Arise Coworking Community, 300 Southtown Circle, will accept applications Jan. 31 through Aug. 31.

The school says it has a no-homework policy, offers Spanish and French lessons, starts class after 10 a.m., takes students on monthly field trips and tailors lessons to each student.

“I wanted to give students the option of having a stress-free transition from elementary school to middle school and again from middle to high school,” owner and teacher Tabitha Carroll said. “As bullying and death related incidents have risen over the years, I vowed to eliminate this worry from parents’ and students’ minds.”

Rising Stars Private School opened two years ago in Raleigh. There is no fee to apply. Tuition is $300 a month for kindergarten through fourth grade. For more information, visit, email or call 919-569-5322.
