RALEIGH — Thales Academy, a Raleigh-based network of private schools with locations in Wake Forest, Rolesville and Knightdale, is offering a free trial of its virtual elementary-level program to local families.

The coursework will not be graded, but is offered as a sample to families of its curriculum and its remote learning program, which it put into place during the statewide shutdown of schools.

“We hope by offering some virtual K-5 educational materials free of charge, Triangle area families can help their children continue to grow academically during this time and experience our strong Thales Academy curriculum firsthand,” said BoB Luddy, founder of Thales Academy, in a statement.

Families do not have to commit to Thales Academy to participate in the trial. Families interested in the program can submit a request form at http://ThalesAcademy.org/NCvirtual
