ROLESVILLE — Ting, a division of Tucows, has announced that Rolesville is joining Holly Springs (announced October 2015), Fuquay-Varina (April 2018) and Wake Forest (February 2019) as the next Ting town in North Carolina.

With established markets and operations in nearby Wake Forest, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina, Ting internet’s expansion into Rolesville will benefit from its local brand strength and operational synergies. Ting is building a gigabit fiber network built direct to the premises whether a home, a business or a multiple occupancy dwelling.

“Rolesville is one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina. With this growth, Rolesville has and will continue to maintain its quality of life and genuine community significance,” said Rolesville Mayor Frank Eagles. “Fast, reliable fiber internet access is another amazing amenity we’re happy to be able to offer to the people and businesses that call Rolesville home both now and in the future.”

“Increasingly, we see that cities and municipalities are looking for better internet options for their residents and businesses because the incumbents aren’t stepping up,” said Tucows CEO Elliot Noss. “Fiber is the technology that will power smart cities for the next hundred years.”

With its expansion into the fast-growing town of Rolesville, Ting internet will be able to bring fiber into new residential developments during construction, which streamlines the installation for crews and Ting customers.

Rolesville residents can pre-order Ting internet now. A one-time $9 pre-order is counted as a vote of sorts for a particular neighborhood or area and is returned to customers on their first bill. Ting internet uses pre-order demand, in conjunction with other factors, when prioritizing and planning construction. Pre-ordering also secures the best possible breaks on installation cost, up to and including the full cost of installation for home gigabit internet access.

Specific construction plans will be unveiled in the coming months and will be updated with the latest news on this front.

Ting internet offers symmetrical gigabit fiber internet for residential, small business and enterprise customers. Home gigabit internet costs $89 a month. Business gigabit internet costs $139 a month. Enterprise internet service levels, installations and pricing vary and can be discussed with Ting internet’s local enterprise team.
