SALISBURY — Trevor Wade Gentry, 28, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, June 19 at his residence.
Born Aug. 30, 1990 in Lexington, he was a son of Jennifer White of Oak Island and Kenneth M. Gentry of Salisbury. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School in Raleigh and the Universal Technical Institute in Mooresville. He was employed as a millright at Freightliner.
He enjoyed fishing, golf and working on cars. Trevor was a member of the Friends of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Gentry, and grandfathers, Ronald White and Wade Buchanan Gentry.
Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his grandmother, Maxine White of Washington, N.C.; brother, John Underfer, III of Oak Island; sister, Chelsea Morgan Ray (Adam) of Louisburg; aunts and uncles, Nancy and Jerry Laxton of Spencer, Ronald White of Stanford, Conn., Frank and Elizabeth Gentry of Salisbury, Mark and Cyndy White of Cary; cousins, Ferguson Menz of Chapel Hill, Austin, Ellis, Maddox and Kimble White of Cary, Maddie Gentry of Boone, cousin and cousin-in-law, Seth and Kaitlin Gentry of Wilkesboro; and Kane Gentry his beloved four-legged son.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Buffalo Brothers in Wake Forest.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Trevor.
