The Wake Forest Guild of Artists will open their group show “Artists’ Care” tonight. The opening reception will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Arts Annex Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 Brooks St., Wake Forest. Artists will tag their work with their favorite charities and a percentage of sales proceeds will be donated.

The first PFLAG Triangle monthly support meeting in Wake Forest will be held Tuesday from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, 350 S. White St., in Wake Forest. PFLAG Triangle is the local chapter of the larger national nonprofit known as PFLAG — the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, their parents, families and allies. In addition to this new Wake Forest meeting location, which will be held each month on the second Tuesday at the same time and location, the PFLAG Triangle monthly support meetings are also offered in Durham and Raleigh.
