Youngsville Candidates Forum slated for Monday

YOUNGSVILLE — The town of Youngsville will host a Candidates Forum on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Youngsville Community Center, 115 E. Main St.

The three candidates for Youngsville commissioner, Ron Adkins, Scott Brame and incumbent Joe Johnson, will be present to meet and greet with the residents of Youngsville. There are two seats open on the board.

Current commissioner Graham Stallings is not running for another term.

The “one-stop” early voting period begins Wednesday and ends Friday, Nov. 1 for Franklin County voters. Franklin County voters can visit only the Franklin County Board of Elections office, 107 Industrial Drive, Louisburg. It is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. There is no weekend early voting in Franklin County.

On election day, voters must go to their assigned precinct. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.
